This essay by Audre Lorde. So. much. to. think. about. Thank you to Sarah at Saipua, for the recommendation. Loving her blog and whole direction she is taking her company these days.
This tiny house (and inhabitant) fascinated me.
Also, this video about the artist Phoebe Cummings. I love her work.
And is it cool if I just post links to beautiful british houses for the rest of my blog/life? Cool.
Hope you have a great Friday. And please remember to Vote on Tuesday! And vote Blue!!

This kitchen is making me so happy to know that it exists in the world. I love the charm of british interiors, and this whole house is quite good.
Have you seen the amazing work of Ron Nicole? Her flower fossils are breathtaking and the world she creates/shares on her Instagram is just so beautiful. Someday I’ll buy one of her pieces.
I made this soup last night and didn’t even add the beer and it was amazing. Have i mentioned I really enjoy cooking? I do. Very convenient as I do a lot of it these days with two young children and a sick husband. :) Make this bread to go with it. Thank me later.
So glad that we live in a world where Call the Midwife has another new season on Netflix.
A great, thought provoking article from a much needed voice.
That’s it for now lovelies! Have a great rest of the week.
xo, Sarah
I feel as though Mondays need a bit of inspiration to start off the week. Here are some things that have inspired me lately.
This British stylist’s home. So quirky and a bit busy, but those bathroom tiles are so dreamy. Handpainted! I love it.
This brilliant article in T Magazine. The history of these buildings is so interesting and the ruinous grandeur that is being slowly restored is just beautiful. Personally, this is just the phase of restoration I would want to stop at. Perfect!
I am kind of bored of many fashion brands, but I really liked Ulla Johnson’s recent show. I loved her “meditation on craft” as she called it. Also her use of past fabric scraps in the quilted pieces is a great idea and what all fashion companies should be doing.
The beautiful color on Scribble & Daub’s booth at a Brides fair in London seems like the perfect color for this fall. And somehow reminds me of this delicious pumpkin bread that I am definitely making this week.
Hope you have a great week, friends! xo
