Hi, I'm Sarah Benet York. 

I'm a print and color designer based in the Seattle area. 

I'm a creative designer with a deep knowledge of color, pattern, art and textiles. I design beautiful prints and thoughtful color concepts for a variety of clients. 

 I  value the artistry, craft and collaborative nature of design to create beautiful and thoughtful products with an emphasis on designs made to last. 

My curiosity for color and prints knows no bounds! Print, pattern and color as a creative expression has been around for centuries and I am constantly looking and inspired by textiles and the way humans love a good print or a beautiful color, across the ages.

Originally, I'm from a small coastal town in California and from a young age I have been fascinated with design and creating. I studied fashion design in London, graduated with a BA in Art History and Visual Culture from San Jose State and trained with a master Textile Designer in Berkeley, CA where I learned extensive hand painting and textile design techniques. 

 In my spare time I love to cook, read, wild swim, TAM, garden and spend time with my family.
